Olga is responsible for government affairs and public policy in a number of countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus. She also leads strategic AI policy engagement projects within the Emerging Markets team covering 100+ countries at Google. Prior to joining Google, Olga worked at an international consultancy firm advising international clients on a variety of government and public affairs topics. She has extensive work experience in international organizations, expert community and non-governmental sectors, and was involved in a number of international research projects focusing on global affairs, economic history and international security. Olga holds a Ph.D. degree in global history. Author and co-author of books and articles on economic history and international cooperation, including Dr. Olga Skorokhodova, The Era of Great Upheaval: Energy Factor in the Last Decades of the Cold War (2021). Olga speaks Russian, English, French, Spanish and basic Turkish.
